Booking information:
The cost of tuition for the weekend is £80.00 per person, payable either in full or in two instalments: one of £40.00 with your application followed by the second of £40.00 before 1st May 2008. Accommodation is not included in the price so that you will have the opportunity to book something suited to your own requirements or budget. Non painting partners are welcome to come along - just book your accommodation accordingly. Bookings will be subject to a £20.00 administration charge on cancellation up to 2 months prior to the course and £40.00 if you cancel within 2 months. Bookings cancelled within 1 month of the course date cannot be refunded. The painting break will accommodate up to a maximum of 10 people and requires a minimum of 8 people to run. If for any reason there are less than 8 applications it may be subject to postponement and you will be notified of this in advance. A selection of paints, palettes, brushes, paper and various other art materials, prints and cards will be available for purchase throughout the weekend. Some light walking will be necessary on location but no great distances are anticipated! We do try to organise painting locations that are easily accessible. The course is suitable for all levels of painting ability. Venue The painting weekend will be based around the Langdale Valley which is situated near Elterwater in the Lake District. We will meet at the village hall in Chapel Stile on the morning of each painting day and then move on to our painting destinations weather permitting. Paul will also be conducting a demonstration on the Saturday evening. Detailed instructions of how to find the venue, an itinerary and accommodation information will be sent to you on receipt of your application.
